About the Private School Swakopmund
With the Motto “Carpe Diem” - “Seize the day”, the Private School Swakopmund captures the essence of its spirit.
Pupils use the uniquely diverse and open minded environment to make the most out of the educational opportunity provided to them, allowing them to truly unlock their potential.
The PSS follows the University of Cambridge International Syllabi at Senior Secondary level and final Grade 12 examinations are taken at AS or IGCSE level. Through this qualification students may gain access to both national and international tertiary institutions.
The Private School Swakopmund bristles with motivation and produces excellent educational outcomes on all levels as a result of a very conducive educational atmosphere. This stimulating and motivating atmosphere is brought about by small classes, a personal atmosphere between pupils and teachers, trust and quality teaching.
Situated in Namibia's coastal town of Swakopmund, it is only natural that the Private School Swakopmund provides for both English and a German language stream from grade 1-7. German is taught all the way through to grade 12, again offering its learners an environment that's hard to duplicate. .
In line with the registration requirements admission to the school is open for all, provided that the learner passes the entrance examination.
