Culture
PSS strives to provide an opportunity for every student to participate in cultural activities. At PSS, life lessons and values are taught and developed as students explore their talents through participation in various activities on offer.

We are pleased to be able to offer weekly music lessons for our Junior Primary students.

Annually the school hosts a drama production which creates a platform for students who love to perform on stage as well as those, who enjoy creating props, working with sound and lights and managing backstage activities.

Internal reading competitions take place regularly in the German and English streams of the Primary School. Students are encouraged to participate in the annual and nationwide Horst-Kreft-Reading Competition. In the High School, interested students participate in the nationwide Speech Competition of the Goethe-Institut for German Foreign Language and the Kurt-Böhme-Orator's Competition of the German Cultural Council in German mother tongue. Students are prepared and monitored by their teachers.

Besides Visual Arts being an integral part of our curriculum at PSS, students are encouraged to participate and contribute to various extra-mural art activities, such as workshops, creating stage props and decorations for festivities. Exhibitions of students’ art works are held annually.
