(Junior Primary: Grades 1 - 4)

Private School Swakopmund (PSS) is an integrated and innovative institution which caters for teaching and learning in smaller groups. Subjects are being taught in accordance with the Cambridge Curriculum.

Our School seeks to employ/appoint a Primary School Teacher with sound experience in the Junior Primary Phase with some exposure in teaching Computer Studies (basic competencies) and if possible, Music. The successful candidate would preferably be an experienced Foundation Phase teacher with a love for teaching English and who is confident in her abilities to teach a variety of other subjects in Primary School.

Commencement date: 1 June 2026

We would expect the successful candidate to possess the following qualifications, experience and competencies:

• An Education Degree/Teaching qualification with specialisation in Foundation Phase;
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
• Preferably a successful track record of teaching Foundation Phase up to Grade 4 for a minimum of 3 years, whilst having taught in English;
• Innovation and trying new techniques and approaches to engage and encourage an interactive classroom experience
