At PSS we prioritise the environment, sustainability and environmental consciousness. We plant indigenous and water-wise plants on our school grounds and the waste from our worm farm is used to fertilise our gardens. Most of our filament light bulbs have been replaced with energy-saving light bulbs. The 3-bin system allows us to reduce our waste and to recycle. Most recently we erected a fog-catcher on the High School roof to investigate how much water can be collected by condensation alone.
